   Hi, there

   Yes, you have great possibility to retrieve the pics you mistakenly deleted from cellphone. Those pics are still in the memory of your phone just not visible, and pics data are waiting to be written over by new data. So from now on don’t use your cellphone to take more pics.

   Then the best way to retrieve your deleted pics is to use some picture recovery programs. Recommended one is Asoftech Photo Recovery. Here is the steps you may refer while retrieve your deleted pics from your phone memory.

   1. Download and install this photo recovery program on your computer. Free download from this site: http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
   2. With your phone memory inserted, Under "My Computer", note the drive letter assigned to your phone’s memory card (usuallyG: or H:).
   3. Start the program and select the drive letter that assigned to the memory, click "Start".
   4. Now the scanning process will start automatically to look for the deleted pictures. You will then get a list of all recoverable ones.
   5. Select the pictures you want and click "Recover” and you can get back deleted pictures from your phone successfully.

   Just FYI, when you call a carrier or manufacturer customer sevice rep, he or she will usually end up telling you to do a hard reset…I honestly think they are told to try one or two simple fixes and if those dont work, just tell the customer to factory reset. But what do I know? My point is, if you have a similar issue in the future, try checking around different internet forums, (you can usually find information that way) before resorting to a reset.

   Ok, the bad news you already know…youve lost all the personal data that was stored on the phone. The good news? Well, if you had a memory card in the phone, your pics should be stored on that. Since the Captivate does not come with a sd card already, you would have had to get one and put it in yourself. If you diid not do that, then I am very sorry to say that there isnt a way to recover your photos.

   Update: The other answers you received are wonderful thoughts, but you said you did a factory reset, correct? That is not the same as deleting files, to the best of my knowledge. I am not an expert, so obviously I could be wrong. If I am, and you are successful, will you post a note as to how you did it?

   best thing you can do that to recover any file by recovery software, but you must act quickly before that file will gone forever because everything that you do, installing, downloadling anything you do can make this file lost forever, my best recommend that you must use the best recovery data
   that you can preview your lost files and recover it completely, get the best software for you

   b4 you do anything check your sd card
   usually everything is saved on the SD card
   go get file manager from market and check ur sd card first
